Launched in Oct 12th 2006,Jandan now has 11 editors work for her voluntarily and generate about 13 posts everyday. Most of the information can be found on Today's Digg homepage, the difference is that they have been translated and edited.Note the source in the bottom of their posts, basicly there will be two links, one in linked to the original post and the other linked to digg.I've asked sein(one of the founders) why,he said they are strictly obey the rule of creativecommons, and this is also the reason that they translate the major idea of the infomation instead of translate all.Jandan is Digg Digest, our editors' job is to select useful information from Digg.com and then do major translation,so as to share the latest and interesting info with you.
People in English speaking country may not understand the value of Jandan's work,it is,a large population of Chinese don't know English, and even those who receive English education may feel difficult to take in the new trend words in Digg. So,translation Blogs are very popular in China no matter in Entertainment field or Technology field.
